Teacher Training

During our three-month, immersive Teacher Training Program, you will study The Class method and explore the art of guiding students through their own transformation. Equal parts education and self-expression, our Teacher Training Program covers sequencing, musicality, and bringing consciousness into action to support students around the world looking to do the same.

If you are interested in our next teacher training, please review the following information.

All applicants must:

Complete 20 sessions of The Class prior to auditioning
Have at least one year’s experience leading group movement set to music—in person and/or digitally
Currently live in either the New York City or Los Angeles areas

Once you apply and send in your details, our team will reach out with details for the next teacher training.

Important Details

The Process

12-week commitment

Training includes in-studio and virtual sessions, home study, practice Classes, one-on-one time with the training and development team, and a final review.

Once accepted and certified, new Teachers will lead Classes in our Santa Monica studio that may also be streamed on our Digital Studio.

There is no cost for The Class training program.

Technique: excellent form and alignment, clear vocal quality, authentic speak, intelligent cueing of all transitions

Energy: passion, wisdom, inspiration, a mix of fire and softness

Personality: confidence, a fun-and-fearless presence, ability to command a room

Music: method-aligned, soulful, dynamic song choices that will build with the movement in your Classes

Rhythm: the ability to identify, count, and teach on the beat

Digital Presence: the ability to teach on camera and translate The Class method to students around the world
