What “Flowa” means (and why we sprinkle it)

Before Travelers Health + Wellness was a corporate wellness practice, it was a Seattle community with a made-up word: Flowa.

Flowa is our shorthand for the good stuff — kindness, harmony, and vital energy, sprinkled generously. When we say we’ll sprinkle you with Flowa, we mean we intend to leave you lighter, calmer, and more alive than we found you. It’s wellness without the pretense.

That word survived every stage of our growth. Today it’s the name of our signature offering — the April Flowa Experience — a guided arc of movement, breath, and sound we bring to teams, hotels, and residences. The audiences got bigger and the invoices got more corporate, but the job description never changed: create a nurturing atmosphere people can actually feel.

So if you see Flowa on this site and wonder if it’s a typo — it isn’t. It’s the whole business plan.
